April News from Mass St Music!

There’s a bit of sawdust at the store from the ongoing 30th Anniversary renovations, but as you’ll know if you’ve been in the store lately, it’s coming along and looking fantastic! Boss Jim and his brother Bruce are nearly done with the new electric demo rooms and then things will really get cooking. But we’re not just updating the store – we also have a new website in the works, which will not only feature the great gear we’re known for, but will be exponentially more informative and easy to navigate. We’ll also be able to feature more items online, like our amazing selection of music books and our wide variety of strings.

New at Mass Street this month are the incredible Strymon Pedals – which are frankly mindblowing, and Mission Pedals which take expression and volume pedals to a new level. We’ve also got Catalin Bread pedals on the way later this month! Several of the staff have been going pedal crazy (see this month’s staff picks) and already reconfigured their pedals boards, which we’ll feature in the May newsletter. Remember we’ve got the great Taylor Road Show this month at the store on Monday, April 22 at 7pm – totally free and always a great time. Please mark your calendars also for Americana Music Academy‘s semi-annual benefit yard sale on April 27 & 28 which will feature great deals, but also Lawrence’s own (by way of New Orleans!) Truckstop Honeymoon, performing on Sunday, 7pm at Americana, just down the street from us at 1419 Mass St. For the latest Mass Street Music news, follow us on Facebook or Twitter.
