These great images, capturing rock stars with their parents and grandparents, are from the incredible Life archives, now available online. Pretty cool stuff. 
These images here were part of a series done back in the 70s by Life photographer John Olson. Ah, bellbottoms. While Clapton looks a little put upon, and bored, Zappa was thoughtful enough to color coordinate with the family room decor. Sweet. Anyway, have a gander and enjoy.
